Issac and Isadora

Science Teacher Loses His Home, School and all of His Students
Issac and Isadora are from Jacmel, Haiti. Issac is a teacher at the public school.  He was in the school and said he had a feeling something was wrong so he went outside. The quake hit and the building fell with 35 kids inside.  He lived on the streets for four days with his daughter when one of our pilots met him and brought him back on his plane to Santiago. He stayed at my house for two days.

His daughter, Isadora is four-years-old and she is very spunky.  It is like nothing at all happend in her life.  She plays and runs and hugs and smiles more than normal.  She doesn't like coffee, but loves chocolate milk.  They flew to Boston where Isadora's mom lives.  Issac told me they will not return to Haiti because he has no home, no job, and no school to teach

Hey man hope you're feeling a little better by now. This is the other "Gringo" in the boat with you and just wanted to say...meeting you was really cool. You're an amazing guy with an amazing job. You will have a special seat in heaven one day for the sacrifices and devotion you have for helping people and spreading God's word. Wish I was still there.

GOD BLESS!

My husband (Jason) was the other "gringo" on the boat with you from Dominican to Jacmel...what an experience and work of God! Thank you for all your help in getting our two mission teams together and home safely. God Bless You. Jason is ready to return for another adventure.

Tim,

On behalf of the Capital City Group I wanted to say thank you to you and the team from "GO" that helped us get our family and friends back home. We are grateful for friends such as you and John Martinez who gave so much of your time during that week to help.

In HIS Service,

Jon Sutphin
Associate Minister
Capital City Christian Church
